The Filarmonica del Festival will give its contribution to an important event organized in Verona, at the Teatro Filarmonico, in which great music and solidarity will be the true protagonists. “Una sinfonia per I giovani” (A symphony for young people) is the title of the concert which will be held on 30 January at 20.45. The Filarmonica will be conducted by Alessandro Bonato. Violin soloist Kyoko Takezawa.
The proceeds from the concert will be donated to ABEO, an association that helps children who suffer from cancer, and their families.
The title “Una sinfonia per i giovani” refers to the young age of the conductor Bonato and many musicians of the orchestra, who perform to support other young people, that is ill children.
The concert programme includes Beethoven’s Concerto per Violino op. 61, and two masterpieces by Mendelssohn Bartholdy: the Ouverture Le Ebridi op. 26 and the Symphony n. 3 op. 56 La Scozzese.
